At one time or another we've all had a staple pair of tights from Jonathan Aston, renowned for their alternative designs from colourful stripes and ombres, to vintage style seamed stockings, making them one of our favourite lingerie brands to shop from.
As they celebrate an astonishing 50 years in the business, they've teamed up with fashionistas, Zandra Rhodes and Celia Birtwell, to launch two very special new collections. Already famed for their stunning designs and textiles work, the collections are set to wow with some exciting designs in their own unique signature styles.
Due to launch this Autumn (which sadly means that there's a long wait to see the finished results), the collections have been designed to complement Jonathan Aston's fashion ranges, infused with each designers own unique style. We can certainly expect to see some gorgeous designs, with Zandra's collection focusing on stylish prints inspired by her own collections over the years, so we can expect to see some stylish safety pin prints amongst the range. With more of a bohemian style to Celia's designs, featuring paisley and animal prints.
Not much is let loose about the collection's at the moment, Zandra has already been dropping a few hints as to what's to come this Autumn, "This collection uses all my very special classic textiles and patterns - from peacock feathers, Indian feathers and wiggles to chains and safety pins from my iconic punk collection of the 70s.".
Already causing a whirlwind of excitement online, it's certainly one to keep an eye out for when the collections land across lingerie and retail shops this Autumn, with Alt Fashion favourite My Tights, already confirmed to stock the collections.
