Enter the Wasteland this September with the Black Rose Ball.

What better way to ride out a stylish apocalyptic aftermath than with a grand masquerade ball, as the Black Rose Ball opens it's doors for another spectacular weekend of entertainment and alternative shopping at York's De Grey Rooms on August 31st - September 1st.

The Black Rose Ball Wasteland

Starting their glamorous apocalyptic weekend off with a concert at The Fulford Arms on the Friday with They Called Him Zone, Red Sun Revival, and headlining act Bad Pollyanna, for an evening of gothic rock and dark post-punk electronica.

Of course, the entertainment doesn't stop there, as the Black Rose Ball continues the weekend in post apocalyptic style with their masquerade ball on the Saturday. An evening of dishevelled glamour, and glittering decay, set around the "Wasteland" theme. It's a chance to get truly creative with an outfit that could withstand an apocalypse, but still looks incredibly stylish - even into the late hours!

If you find yourself stuck for outfit inspiration, why not shop at the Black Rose Bazaar, opening prior to the ball at the De Grey Rooms for a day of alternative shopping. With a wide range of gothic and alternative traders to shop from including Wyte Phantom, Forever In Black, House of Bats, and Le Hat Noir - helping to kit you out with those finishing touches.

The weekend starts off on Friday 31st August at The Fulford Arms, finishing off with the Black Rose Ball at the De Grey Rooms on Saturday 1st September.
