How did you start modelling? Was it something that you always wanted to do, or did it just 'happen'?

I began my career and training as a performer, which usually involves a fair amount of being photographed anyway, mainly for self-promotion. I guess it's the same with anything else - once you start doing it and developing your skills, you get a taste for it. I began collaborating with interesting alternative photographers and really enjoying the results.

What drew you towards alternative modeling?

I guess its the creative collaboration between the person in front of the camera, and the person behind. Really, there's no limit to the images you can produce, so long as you are both on the same creative page and have a decent imagination!

Do you have any fellow models or heroines who have inspired you?

In the industries I work in, I meet some truly brilliant women. There are a handful of models and performers who I know or work closely with who just epitomize female confidence and absolutely ROCK what they do. They are a constant inspiration to me, and know who they are!

What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future?

I love working on fetish shoots - the outfits are always fascinating and you get to work in some really cool locations, often with really original and fun ideas.

What has been your biggest modelling achievement so far?

Probably being asked to model by old friends who are just exploring photography, fashion or makeup artistry. A few times I've been looked up by people that I haven't seen in years, and they've sent me really nice messages asking if I would model for them because they've seen my work online, or at events. If I have the time, I always try and say yes, because I think that's a really big compliment for them to find you specifically, when they could easily just post an advert on a modelling community site.

How did you discover your particular interest in alternative fashion?

Well my parents were a bit bohemian, so they were perfectly cool with me being far more excited about Halloween than any other time of year as a kid..... And I think my mother secretly enjoyed me having a bit of a quirky style! So they encouraged me to experiment and luckily they appreciated me being a bit different :)

Are there any companies or designers that you'd like to work with?

Loads! I'd love to shoot for a latex couture catalogue some time.

What are your goals & aspirations for the future?

Keep doing what I do - I'm loving this industry and hope I can keep it going for as long as possible!
