A summer of kawaii : Hyper Japan returns this July.

Earls Court is set to be taken over by a flurry of cosplayers, elegant gothic lolitas, anime aficionados and gamers as Hyper Japan returns for a long weekend of entertainment, shopping and fashion.

Celebrating all things modern and traditional within Japanese culture, Hyper Japan has been brightening up Earls Court for the past few years with their weekend long celebration, taking in a vast selection of exhibitors, workshops, guests, performers and more, it's enough to send any Japanophile into a frenzy!

Whether you want to discover new hot music artists, or discover the latest up and coming performing arts, play dress up with the latest kawaii fashion, judge the very best sushi chefs in the UK, or sample the delicious sake on offer, Hyper Japan has it all on show for you.

Certainly set to be a busy weekend, with plenty to see and do, Alt Fashion fans may want to take a gander at the Hyper fringe market which is a vast dedicated shopping section, here you'll find lovely finds to feast your eyes upon, whether you like gothic lolita or decora there's bound to be a stall that takes your fancy.

Hyper Kawaii is also a must visit section of the show, dedicated to all that's wonderful about Japanese street fashion with fashion shows, make up and hair demonstrations and even stalls so you can find plenty of inspiration.

But it's not just about colourful street fashion, cosplayers can also take part in cosplay gatherings, costume workshops, Cosparades and more, whether you want to arrive in your own handmade cosplay attire or discover how to make your own outfits you'll find the inspiration here.

With plenty more across the weekend to discover from the Eat-Japan section where die hard sushi lovers and bubble tea drinkers can indulge a little in some delicious offerings, or if you prefer to take part in a gaming challenge you'll want to visit the Hyper game and anime park.
