London Queer Fashion Show 2017

London Fashion Week has always been a platform for new, upcoming, and inspiring designers, and this latest fashion show certainly looks set to cause a stir, launching on the closing night of the S/S 2018 shows, helping to put LGBTQ+ designers on the fashion map.

A fashion show unlike any other, showcasing fashion for queer and gender non-conforming individuals, featuring clothing for the people that believe in unique identity over gender stereotypes. There's bound to be something that fits in with your own personal style amongst the showcased designs on the catwalk - over 50 brands applied to exhibit at the event, with the chosen 8 being a selection of London's most exciting and challenging designers; from Jack Goode to Ingrid Kraftchenko.

As the show looks set to bring us some of the finest in alternative design, it's also bringing together a selection of models and influencers from Raine Dove the infamous gender-fluid model to transgender activist Sam Moir Smith who will both be walking in the show.

Off the catwalk, visitors will also be able to visit The Emporium, featuring a series of interactive stands to experience and experiment with different looks, from hair styling to body art to dress tutorials to makeup demos.

It's certainly set to be an amazing show, "The London Queer Fashion show is about creating a space for brands that are challenging and expressing how young and queer audiences are already seeing their identity. We're tired of dealing with the restricting gender norms the fashion industry has been defined by for decades. Our designers are asking the right, provocative questions; we're really proud to work with them on creating this event and show London how diverse fashion can truly be." says CEO of LQFS, Robyn Exto.

The London Queer Fashion show launches on September 20th at Hackney Showrooms, with the after party following. Tickets are available from www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-queer-fashion-show-tickets-36187352345 starting from £10.50 - £26.25. For further details visit www.londonqueerfashionshow.com.
